We are open 7 days a week from 10am - 4:30pm, rain or shine.

Our holiday closures.

New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Admission is by Donation.

We greatly appreciate your monetary support. Your donation is how we are able to care for the animals. For your convenience, we have card readers upon entrance to the welcome center and cash donation boxes throughout the Sanctuary.

Organized Groups.

If you intend to bring your school, homeschool, club, scout troop,  moms' group, support group, or any organized group we do require a reservation.  Please email our reservations team member to learn more and the cost and availability to schedule your group visit. 

Organized groups are any group consisting of 10 or more individuals with a common interest or specific purpose for visiting the Sanctuary.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Call us at 561-575-3399. We are happy to answer your questions. Our hospital is open for intakes Monday - Sunday 9:00 am - 4:30 pm. You can find more information about our Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation by clicking here.

  • Service animals are welcome at the Sanctuary. Per the ADA, a service animal is individually trained to work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. If you have any questions, please give us a call 561-575-3399.

  • The Sanctuary is on paved trails. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes. Don't forget your sunblock and reusable water bottle.

  • Our Welcome Center retail shop keeps a small selection of drinks and snacks.

  • No, you do not need a reservation to visit the Sanctuary. However, organized groups such as schools, homeschools, Mom groups, Scouts, Clubs, etc. do need to book in advance, just click here. If you’re interested in a birthday party or other special event experience please click here.

  • Yes, our Sanctuary is ADA compliant. We have paved walkways for easy strolling.

  • The entire Sanctuary is little under 20 acres of nature trails and habitats to explore. Give yourself a 1hr for the walk-through. Visitors also like to plan their day here by scheduling their arrival around our many weekly programs. You can find the full weekly schedule by clicking here.
