Eurasian Eagle Owl
Eurasian eagle owls have a vast geographic range, inhabiting diverse habitats across Europe and Asia, including forests, mountains, and rocky cliffs. They are also known to adapt to urban environments, occasionally nesting in abandoned buildings and quarries. The Eurasian eagle owl is one of the largest owl species in the world, with wingspans reaching up to 6 feet and standing as tall as 2 feet.
The owl on exhibit is a retired falconer’s bird.
