Come sit in our Educational Amphitheater for a wildlife encounter and see native Florida animals up close! Conservation Conversations are held daily and each program is different so you never know what you might see. With the help of our educational animal ambassadors, learn all about their biology, habitats, and conservation efforts.

Wonderful Waterbirds

Join us every Monday at 12:30 p.m. for Wonderful Waterbirds, an educational program about waterbirds. Learn about the diverse species that call Florida’s wetlands, lakes, and coastal areas home. From elegant roseate spoonbills, brown pelicans, dusks, and crows, there is always something unique to spot.

Swamp Servings

Stop by our Sanctuary on Mondays at 4 p.m. for our weekly Alligator presentation and feeding! Come see the mighty Florida Alligator and learn all about why they are such an important keystone species, how they help the environment and much more!

Sly Foxes

Join us every Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. for Sly Foxes, an educational program where you’ll discover fascinating facts about Florida’s two native fox species: the red fox and the gray fox. Learn about their unique adaptations, habitats, and behaviors, and find out what makes these cunning creatures such skilled survivors in the wild.

Tiny Tales Storytime

Join us for Toddler Storytime in our Educational Amphitheater, held every Wednesday at 10 a.m. A great family-friendly program where little ones of all ages can learn about wildlife! Listen to stories about gators and panthers, and see some of our animal ambassadors up close.

Otter Adventures

Join us every Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. for Otter Adventures, an educational program where you'll learn about the North American river otter. From their expert swimming skills to their social behaviors, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for these fascinating creatures.

Hunters of the Skies

Join us for Hunters of the Skies to learn all about hawks, owls, and more! Held at 12:30 p.m. every Thursday, come see these native birds of prey up close. You might see the mighty Great Horned Owl or the small Eastern Screech Owl. Learn about these amazing birds and how they help the environment.

Reptiles Rule

Join us for Reptiles Rule held every Friday at 12:30 p.m. inside our interactive Reptile Complex. Children of all ages can learn about alligators, snakes, turtles, and more. This educational program is perfect for guests to learn about reptiles and wildlife conservation.

Flatwood Friends

Join us every Sunday at 12:30 p.m. for Flatwoods Friends, an educational program where you'll gain insights into the world of white-tailed deer, turkeys, and cranes. Discover their unique behaviors, from the graceful movements of cranes to the resourceful nature of turkeys and the adaptability of white-tailed deer.
